Elizabeth was born about 1735-38 in Culpeper, Virginia. She married Benjamin Gaines about 1754 and had at least 10 children.
From https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/pendleton/1357/ “Benjamin Gaines, son of William Gaines and Isabella Pendleton, is shown by some to have married Elizabeth Claiborne Botts. Since middle names were still uncommon when she was born in the first half of the 17th century, it is highly improbable that Elizabeth's middle name was Claiborne. In the few court records in which her name is listed, it is simply shown as Elizabeth. I have found no connection between the Botts and the Claiborne families which would even justify giving Elizabeth the name, Claiborne, as a middle name.”
Also need to check if this is accurate She married Benjamin Henry Harrison about 1800 in Surry, Virginia[1]
