Biography
François was born in 1677. He is the son of Jean-Galleran Boucher and Marie Leclerc.[1]
born on 3 Feb 1677, he was baptized on 28 April 1677
There is confusion created about his actual given name as the baptismal record lists him as being named François in the text of the document, but in the margin the name inscribed is François Galeran Boucher. This was a clerical error, his father's given names are Jean Galeran, Galeran is not a last name (in this instance at least)
