À trente et un ans, il s’est marié le mardi 19 juillet 1695 à Rivière-Ouelle (Bas-Saint-Laurent (Québec)), QC avec Marie-Anne MICHAUD

Charles-François Marquis épousa Marie-Anne Boucher, la fille de Pierre Boucher, le 20 janvier 1724 à Kamouraska. (Pierre Boucher et Marie-Anne Michaud étaient ses voisins, leurs terres se jouxtant et étant de mêmes dimensions. Le clan Marquis-Boucher possédait un territoire comprenant aujourd’hui les paroisses de Notre-Dame-du-Portage et de Saint-André, soit 3,000 pieds de front par 14 kilomètres de profondeur. Par les mariages, le clan s’est agrandi avec les Michaud et les Dumont.)

Boucher-3510 and Boucher-583 appear to represent the same person because: Part of extensive duplication of Marquis family tree requiring multiple merges to clean up the mess
