Notes

Note BI12BIRTH: "Marriages of Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier, 1826-1850", Tome III, published by the Société de Généalogie de Lanaudière. The entry is as follows:
BOUCHER Louis Seraphin Seraphin, cultivateur, Adelaide Hotin
1830-11-09 - 11-08 (Louis Rival-Bellerose, Julie Lavalle)
Note NI12Larry Smith found Louis living with Seraphin in 1870 Houghton, MI census. No proof of Louis' birth .
Since Seraphin married on same date as his sister Marie Catherine married Louis Bidagen St Martin, I'd like to think Ls Bidagen was his GodFather, but where was baptism?

CHRISTENING: ON one of the Ancestry sites, there is a Baptism for a Louis Sepaphin Boucher at Berthier, 9 Nov, 1830, with sponsors: Louis Rival dit Bellerose and Julie Lavallee. This came from a book by the AFGS inWoonsocket, RI. The names sure fit, but I re-rented the parish film, and it's not there. I have asked Henry Belrose on the Q-D list if he has anything on this Henry. Perhaps the event was recorded later out of time sequence, but I think I looked up to 1834 a few years ago. Any ideas?
