When Francois "Frank" Xavier Boucher was born on July 6, 1849, in St-Augustin, Quebec, Canada, his father, Léon, was 28 and his mother, Marie, was 25. He married Julia Bessette on July 2, 1871, in Lowell, Massachusetts. They had 13 children. He died on January 7, 1930, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 80.
