Biography

Marie Geneviève was born and baptized on 7 January 1739 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, the daughter of Philipe Boucher and Marie Dionne. Her godparents were Joseph Boucher and Marie Magdelainne Boucher.[1]

Antoine Gagnon, age 25, son of Antoine Gagnon and Rene Ouellet, married Geneviève Boucher, 26 year old daughter of Philippe Boucher and Marie Dionne, on 18 February 1765 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, Province of Québec.[2][3]

Marie Geneviève Boucher died on 20 July 1790 in La Pocatière after having received the sacraments of the church. She was buried two days later, on 22 July 1790, in the parish cemetery of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. Present at the burial were Jean Baptiste St-Amand and many others.[4]
