Joseph Marie Boucher was born on October 2, 1750, in La Pocatière, Quebec, Canada. He married Marie Louise Belanger on November 2, 1772. He died on June 5, 1837, in Cacouna, Quebec, Canada, having lived a long life of 86 years, and was buried there.
