Biography

Joseph Boucher was born in 1777. He was the son of Augustin Boucher and Marie Magdelaine Caron. At age 27 Joseph, a farmer, married Marie Monique Mercier on 19 Jun 1804 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Montmorency, Bas-Canada. There were eight known children born into this marriage. Joseph died at age 40 on 17 Sep 1817; he was buried two days later on 19 Sep in Saint-Nicolas parish cemetery in Lévis.
