He married Magdeleine Lepage, widow of Amable Bernier, on 26 October 1824 at the Catholic parish of Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse. [3] They had no children as she was no longer of childbearing age.
His second wife passed away in December 1833.
He married a third time, to Madeleine Veilleux, widow of Etienne Gregoire, on 2 March 1835 at the Catholic parish of Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce. [4] They also had no children due to age.
