In 1885 ET was enrolled in school in Chickasaw, MS.
ET married ME in 1895 in Texas.
In 1900 ET and ME lived in Karnes, Texas with their two children, Bernard, 4, and Lucy, 2. Also living with them were ET's parents and two brothers, WH and HG. ET owned his home free of mortgage. He was a merchant in groceries.
