"Marie veuve Babin [sic] is "probably" on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 1 Left. Listed with her is her daughter Marie [Babin]. NOTE: After much research, it does appear that this plaque is for this woman and her daughter. It doesn't seem to fit anyone else. HOWEVER, if you find conflicting information, please post here. [1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Marguerite by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Marguerite:
If her DNA relationship is confirmed with Michel Boudrot, shouldn't the DNA confirmed be checked between her father and his mother and from his mother to Michel Boudrot? I don't know enough about DNA to do that.
