Marie-Madeleine Bourg was born about 1694 in Port Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Martin Bourg and Marie Potet. Her family lived in Port Royal in 1693[1] and in 1698[2] so she is assumed to have been born in Port Royal.
She died between September 1755 and the end of September 1756.
The will of René Aucoin was notarized by Louis De Courville, notary at Fort Beauséjour, at Beaubassin on 10 Aug 1754. He divided his goods among his children. [3]

1698 census of Port Royal, Acadia has Martin BOURG 48; Marie POTET (wife) 42; Abraham 20; Pierre 18; Jeanne 15; Ambroise 12; Francois 10, Marie 10; Madeleine 4; Charles 1/2; 19 cattle, 27 sheep, 9 hogs, 35 arpents, 45 fruit trees, 2 guns.
