Simon Bourg was born about 1731 in Beaubassin, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of François Bourg and Marie Belliveau.[1]

Simon (30) married Rosalie Gaudet (22) (born in Beaubassin) on Feb 15, 1762 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Quebec.[2][3]

Their known children were:

  1. Francois Simon Bourg (Aug 12 1763 – Mar 31 1839)
  2. Marie Monique Bourg (Oct 7 1765 – Dec 21 1799)
  3. Charles Bourque (Nov 19 1767 – unknown)
  4. Jacques Bourc (Jul 3 1771 – Jul 27 1834)
  5. Joseph Francois Bourc (Jan 15 1775 – about Mar 15 1777)

Bourg-570 and Bourg-470 are not ready to be merged because: Without supporting evidence it is speculative to say they are the same person. The similarities are too few to justify a merge at this time.
