Biography

Pierre Bourg was born on 26 Sep 1740 in Grand Pré, Acadia, New France, son of Alexandre Bourg (1709 - 1770) and Marie Hébert (1714 - 1770). He was baptized the day he was born at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. His godparents were Pierre Doucet and Marie Boudrot.[1][2][3]

Pierre married Élisabeth Marceau (1752 - 1831) on 25 Nov 1772 in St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Province de Québec. [4]

Their children were:

  1. Marie Elisabeth nov 5, 1733, Riviere-du-Sud, Canada, Nouvelle-France
  2. Pierre Bourque (~1762 - ~1843)
  3. Abraham Bourque (~1773 - ~1857)
  4. Alexandre Bourque (~1780 - ~1807)
  5. Marguerite Bourque (1780 - 1860)
  6. Pierre Bourque (<1781 - ).

Pierre died on 4 May 1781 in St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud aged 40. [5]
