Joseph was born about 1750 (estimated). Joseph is the child of Joseph Bourque and Madeleine Blanchard. There is a Joseph Bourg with wife, 1 boy and 2 girls found in Memramcook in January 1752 which fits with this family composition, Joseph being the only boy in the family and with two sisters Theotiste and Marguerite born by 1752.[1]
Joseph Bourg, Acadian, (both parents deceased) married Ursule Piché, daughter of Adrien Piché and of Marie Josephe Morrisset, on 10 Feb 1777 in Cap-Santé[2]
Joseph Bourg, husband of Ursule Piché, died on 19 March 1810 and was buried on the 21st in Cap-Santé, no age being cited.[3]
Formerly also tied as husband of Marie Louise Gely and father of Marie Louise Bourg, both have been detached, the parents of that Joseph Bourg were the late Charles Bourg and Madeleine Blanchard, he married Marie Louise Gely in 1769 and she died in 1799, so cannot be the same man. Liard-1
