I went in person to The University of Moncton and met Stephen White, and he very kindly helped me with my research when I was working on Cyril H. Despres, his father Hyppolite Despres, then Jean Despres, then Honore Despres Stephen White said to me and I quote, "When you get to Jean Baptiste Despres you will reach a dead end as to his "

But fortunately his wife, Madeleine Bourque, and her lineage are 'first' Acadians and well documented.

Bourque-516 and Bourg-357 appear to represent the same person because: Same name. Birthdate is 1752 per source (brother Michel was born in 1750).

Same parents, same spouse (also needs merge). Marriage is second per 37 families source, so that's correct. same death year.
