Biography

Simon Bourque was born on 22 Jun 1856 and baptized on 5 Jul 1836 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Jean Amable Bourque and Marie Blanche Richard.^[1][2]

In the 1861 census Simon (age 5) lived in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.^[3]

Simon married Domithild Desroches on 1 Nov 1880 in Northumberland County, New Brunswick.^[4]

In the 1891 census Simon (age 36) lived in Rogerville, Northumberland, New Brunswick.^[5]

When Simon was 41 he married Marie Madeleine Robichaud on 23 August 1897 in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada. The couple had 11 children. He is listed as widowed when he marries Marie Madelaine Robichaud.^[6][7][8]
