Her mother was Alice, surname unknown, later wife of Matthew Marvin, and is so named in Alice's will. Joan Turney being John Bouton's wife is a misstatement in the very poorly researched "Bouton-Boughton Family" published in 1890 and has never been given credence since in other books or articles on the family. Also, the spelling "Boughton" is anachronistic. Bowton, Bouton and Boutton are the common spellings of this name in the 17th century.

Bridget should be the daughter of John Boughton.

I believe the they are the same based on the death date and location. Birth date in Bouton-8 makes more sense. I recommend going over the sources again to try and narrow down the best date. I will approve the merge.

Bouton-89 and Bouton-8 appear to represent the same person because: I think since she m. 1655 birth needs to be about 1635, at which time her birth place is probably unknown
