Mary Sophia Bowen was born Sep 1844 in canada.
FamilySearch has her wedding to Amos in Oakland, Mi. in 1862. [1]
Amos died in 1865.
In 1870, Sophia Pettibone age 27 was listed as living in Vermillion, Dakota, Minnesota. Whare she owned property valued at 1000 dollars and had 5400 dollars in personal property. She was keeping house for Milo Pettibone who was working as a Farmer on land he owned valued at 5000 dollars and had 860 dollars in personal property. Also living in the home was Nellie Pettibone age 6, Geo E Dering age 30, Genie Dering age 21, Mary Brown age 60 and John Kitvin age 25.[2]
She died on 1 Sep 1922 in Plains, Sanders County, Montana[3] [4]. The cause of death is listed as a Cerebral Hemorage resulting in Heart Feilure[5]
