William Bart Saxbe in his genealogy on the Richard Bowen family says that Richard (Jr.) Bowen was born about 1631.[2] In light of his 1646 marriage his birth must have been about 1626. His memorial on FindAGrave records Richard's birth around 1626 in Wales.[3] He was the son of Richard Bowen. His mother's name is not known.[2]
Immigration
Richard arrived as a child, about 1638 at Massachusetts, with his family.[2]
Associations
Richard Bowen was one of the three men chosen as overseers of the settlement of Robert Martin's estate in Rehoboth (proved 2 June 1669).[4] Whether this was Richard or his father by the same name is unclear.[4]
Marriage
Richard married twice:
Richard "m.1. Esther Sutton, 4 Mar 1646 in Rehoboth - probably daughter of John. She was buried 6 Nov. 1688."[2][5][6]
Richard "m.2. Martha (Allen) Saben, widow of William Saben, 20 Jan. 1690. She was buried 11 Jan 1735, aged 94y 1d."[2][5][6]
MaVR mentions only their father and Esther as Hester.[7]
Rehoboth
On 24 October 1643, Richard Bowen, Sr. met with others at Weymouth to draw lots as "plantores of Seacunk, (Rehoboth)."[8]
Richard Bowen, Sr.'s property was in the South East portion of the Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony "Ring of the Green" in what is present day Rumford, RI[9]. Richard Bowen, Jr. was later listed as owning the 8 acre section initially belonging to Edward Benet on the second lot South of his father's lot[10]
Rehoboth Ring of the Green Map
On 23 Jun 1668, Richard Bowen, Jr. received one of the lots that were allotted from Meadow on the North Side of Rehoboth[10].
Death
Richard passed away prior to March 25, 1722/3,[2] most likely, in Bristol County in the Province of Massachusetts Bay where his will was proved.
Probate
Richard's will, dated 12 April 1718, was proved in Bristol County Court March 25, 1722/3.[11][12]

I considered just adding the documentation but I knew if it was one of my profiles, I would appreciate it being shared with me. This is a family search file at the end it has Richards will. I am working John. https://familysearch.org/photos/artifacts/27552546
