Hannah Bowen was born in May of 1798 and was baptized in Fredericksburgh, Lennox, Upper Canada on May 30th, 1798. She was the daughter of Daniel Bowen and his wife Catherine Demorest.[1]
Hannah married Asa A. Richardson on the 17th of August, 1817 in Fredericksburgh, Lennox, Upper Canada.[2]
Hannah died sometime between 1861 and the date of the 1871 Canada Census.
Research Notes
Hannah and her family has not been found on the 1851 census.
A death record has yet to be found.
Hannah last appears on the 1861 Canada census. On the 1871 census only her husband appears, transcribed in error as married but if you look at the document carefully its clear the enumerator, realizing their mistake, tried to make an M look like a W without much success. The other confirmation is that Asa is living in his daughter's household and Hannah is nowhere to be found. Link to the 1871 census is on Asa Richardson's profile.
