Biography

Enoch was born about 1728 in Bowentown in what was then Salem County (soon to be Cumberland County).

Enoch Bowen of Fairfield, Cumberland County wrote his will 1 May 1776; it was proved 21 May 1776. Witnesses were John Bateman, Judith Bateman, and Theophilus Elmer. Timothy Elmer, friend, was executor.[1]
