Mrs. Susan Bowen Eunice Roberson, 92, died Thursday morning at the home of her son, D. A. Eunice, in Pierce county after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Ben James Primitive Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Elder James Land of Jacksonville and the Rev. H. L. Dixon of Patterson officiated.
Mrs. Roberson was a native of Appling county and was a member of the Ben James Church. She had made her home with her son for eight years.
Survivors include another son, Joseph G. Eunice, San Francisco, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Youmans, Blackshear, Mrs. Bessie Peeples and Mrs. Dorothy Rutkowski, both of Houston, Texas; 49 grandchildren, 115 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons. Darling Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.[4]
