Alexander Andrew arrived in South Carolina on the "Upton" in 1752 and received a land grant of 50 acres on Crims Creek on 20 December 1752. This 50 acres was deeded to his son George in 1805. On 14 November 1772 he was awarded 150 acres on a branch of Camping Creek. On 10 February 1773 he received 200 acres on the waters of Camping Creek. The 200 acres was later sold to by his children to their brother Stephen Bowers in 1813.
Based on the deed to George in 1805 and sell of land to Stephen in 1813, then the assumption would be Alexander Andrew died between 1805 and 1813.
