He was survived by 8 daughters- Mallie A. Pittman of Highland, SC, Mrs. W.D. Hart of Greer, SC, Mrs. Virgil Edmonds of Penrose, NC, Mrs. J.T. Babb of Greer, SC, and of Campobello, Mrs. I.M. Howell, Julia Tucker, Mrs. D.W. Babb, and Ida Bowers.
James was born in 1858. He passed away in 1933.
