Biography

Rhodi was born in 1752.

Rhodi lived all his live in Charles county where he died in about 1818. He had at least six children all of which left the county and moved to Abbeville, South Carolina a number of years before their father's death.

  1. Catherine who married Mr Flurry and after his death moved to South Carolina.
  2. Hezekiah, b abt 1778 married Elizabeth Sims.
  3. Francis
  4. Eli b abt 1781 married Catherine Franklin.
  5. Grace
  6. Richard Price Bowie b art 1786 married Catherine Hodges.

Rhoda (Rhodi) Rhody) Bowie a Private in "Charles Co. Militia" 26th Battalion, Capt Hezh. Garner's Co.[1] Rhoda Bowie took the Oath of Fidelity in Charles Co. MD in 1778[2].
