I'm just an average guy, with an above-average interest in genealogy. I would use the word "avid"; Unless I'm taking a short break from it, I'm usually researching on a daily basis. Genealogy has also led to me to develop an appreciation for history in general. Finding information on ancestors is like solving a mystery, or going on a treasure hunt. I enjoy doing research and lookups for other people almost as much as I enjoy doing my own personal research.
I try to find the most accurate information I can - I feel that accuracy and sourcing are very important in genealogy. I am constantly refining information as I go on.
I popped in to say how much we appreciate your contributions to the community's shared tree.

I too share the Bowler name, as my father is Norman Bowler, son of James Rizon Bowler and Edith Pearl Bowler/nee Loveland. My father's parents, my grandparents were born in New York, while his their parents, at least my dads grandmother was born in Canada. I have many relatives in the United States and in Canada. I am trying to make the connection of the Bowler family that they were related to. I strongly believe that it could have been my dad's grandparents, but not sure. My grandfather has two brothers, George and John, and a sister named Myrtle Flossie Bowler. Not all the children were born in New York. Hastings Belleville area is as far as I could get in finding out where they lived. Who was your father? Many Thanks
Thank you so much. Gary
I am form Gemany and new here with the same interest. Finding long lost ancestors and their history of life before us.
I am seeking confirmation to wiki genealogist. I Have traced my ancestry for years and would like to find and share more info here with others.
