Biography
Robert was born 6 Mar 1889 in Culpeper County, Virginia, USA His parents were Frank Paris Bowman (1858–1925) and Annie Isabell Swan Bowman (1867–1945).
He married Ruth Schoolfield, his first wife and had a son Robert A Bowman Jr.
Robert Sr. graduated from college and was a business manager.
After his divorce from Ruth in the 1940's, Robert married Mae Cavanaugh and resided in Alexandria, Virginia. His 2nd wife was very active in state nursing programs and the couple enjoyed raising and training their champion beagles at Cabo kennels.
Mr. Bowman passed away 19 May 1962 (aged 73) while living in Alexandria, Alexandria City, Virginia, USA. He was buried at the Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA.
