This deed of conveyance made and entered into this 18 day of June 1908 between Charles Bowman and wife Cleva Bowman parties of the first part and Sheridan Bowman parties (sic) of the second part, witnesseth that said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell and convey to the part of the second part his heirs and assigns the following described property to wit, two tracts of land located in Rockcaastle County Ky on the headwaters of Renfro Creek the first tract is bounded as follows: Beginning on a stone near the Spring in Robert Greens line thence with the Branch west 70 yards to a stone, thence a straight line across the ridge to a hickory fence with Lairs line E 185 yards to a gate to the Albert Griess corner thence west to a corner of Albert Griess place. Thence East to the beginning containing 310 acres. This tract of land purchased from Charles Bowman from A.C. Hiatt on the 29 day of May 1907 and recorded in Rockcastle County front clerks office in Deed Book No. 3, page 308 also covers a pass away 15 feet wide through the George Hughes land now owned by WW Nantz, the second tract is then described: Beginning at a horn beam tree on the bank of a branch known as Harlin Spring branch thence with the meanders of said branch to a willow near the Spring; thence south to a chesnut; thence east to the Lear line to a white oak; thence with the Lair line to a beginning corner containing 10 acres. To have and to hold the same together with all appurtenances thereunto belonging to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of General Warranty.
