Bowman-4128 and Bowman-57 do not represent the same person because: Emanuel Bowman, born 15 Dec 1826 in North Carolina, is the son of George W. Bowman and Mary "Mollie" Catherine (Eisenhauer) Bowman. Emanuel died in Monroe County, Indiana, on 23 November 1891 as documented in the Monroe County Death Records, housed at the Public Health Department in Bloomington, Indiana. He is buried in the "Old Dutch Cemetery" near Ellettsville, Indiana, and I have photos of his grave marker which also has his wife's name (Lucinda "Lucy" A. (Myers) Bowman) inscribed on it. He is my 2nd great-granduncle. I have other documents that prove his birth in NC and establish him as the son of George & Mary "Mollie" (Eisenhauer) Bowman. His brother, Levi Bowman, is my 2nd great-grandfather. Emanuel and Levi are two of the 11 children of George and Mary "Mollie" (Eisenhauer) Bowman, who moved from NC to Indiana in the early 1800s and lived the rest of their lives in Monroe and Morgan Counties in Indiana. George Bowman, father of Emanuel, died on 5 August 1874 and is buried in Stierwall Cemetery, Paragon, Morgan County, Indiana. His wife, Mary "Mollie" Catherine (Eisenhauer) Bowman died on 1 September 1865 and is buried in the same cemetery next to her husband. I have documents for many members of the family, and do not believe that the requested merger represents the same individual.
Bowman-4128 and Bowman-57 appear to represent the same person because: A lot of inconsistency, but a lot of matching details as well. May need some research and thoughtful consideration, but I believe these are duplicates.
