MILLERSBURG -- Mary H. Raber, 89, 2211 Township Road 151, Millersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Elkhart, Ind., to the late Harvey H. and Lizzie (Lehman) Bowman, and married Paul A. Raber on Nov. 14, 1946. He died May 25, 1985. was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are children, Eli (Clara) Raber and Alvin (Esther) Raber, both of Millersburg, Eddie (Esther) Raber of Holmesville, Harvey (Esther) Raber of Fredericktown, Abe (Linda) Raber of Butler, Dan (Verba) Raber of Dundee, Paul Jr. (Mary) Raber of Sugarcreek, Anna (Jonas) Miller of Fresno, Betty (Marvin) Mast of Baltic, Fannie (Ben) Erb of Carrollton and Emma (Jonas) Keim of Shreve; 71 grandchildren; 177 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harvey (Bertha) Bowman of Millersburg and Eli (Lydia Ann) Bowman of Fredericksburg; sisters, Fannie (Ezra) Wengard of Apple Creek, Elizabeth (Jonas) Miller of Millersburg and Barbara Miller of Fredericksburg.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; four brothers-in-law; four sisters; and three sisters-in-law.

Services will be Monday, Sept. 10 at 9 a.m. at the Raber residence, with Bishop John J.C. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Raber Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County. 1
