Joseph Bowring was born in Dorset, England.
Joseph was christened at Stratton, Dorset, England on the 2nd of August 1795. His parents were named as Thomas and Ann. [1]
He married Jane Cook at Melcombe Regis, Dorset on the 20th of September 1819. [2]
