North Jackson - Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, for Mrs. Maxine L. Bowser Moore, 73, of 12809 Gladstone Road, who died Friday afternoon in the emergency room of Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Moore was born March 8, 1924, in Youngstown, a daughter of Samuel A. and Dora Williams Bowser. She retired in 1994 after working for Youngstown Window Cleaning, Hammer's Furniture in Canfield and Tamco in Austintown. She was a 1944 graduate of Austintown Fitch High Scool, and a member of Pricetown United Methodist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher, superintendent of the children's department, 1984 Mother of the Year, a church quilter, and held many offices. She also belonged to Lake Milton Senior Citizens and Pricetown Women's Club, and enjoyed painting china. She leaves her husband, Emerson, whom she married Nov. 12, 1945; a daughter, Ms. Patricia Kirk of North Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Davis of Columbiana and Mrs. Betty Jane Roberds of Silver Spring, Md.; a brother, William J. Bowser of Austintown; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call an hour before the services at the funeral home.
