Biography

Born at Rowallan Mill the 4th child to James Boyd and Elizabeth Cuthbertson, both their first marriages. Born 1st Sept 1741 and baptized 7th Sept

Andrew and his wife Janet Fleming are mentioned in the Laigh Kilmarnock book of discipline in 1750 seeking absolution for pre-marital fornication. There first child born shortly after their marriage.
