Biography

Mary Boyd, daughter of John R. Boyd and Nancy Hudson, was born circa 1843 at New York, USA. Her father died before 1850 and her mother remarried. She appeared on the census of 21 Dec. 1850 in the household of her step-father, Ithural A. Humphrey, and her mother, Nancy Hudson, at Belvidere, Boone Co., Illinois.^[1] She appeared on the census of 26 July 1860 in the household of Ithural and Nancy at Belvidere, Boone Co., Illinois.^[2] She was a clerk when she appeared on the census of 24 June 1870 in the household of Ithural and Nancy at Belvidere, Boone Co., Illinois.^[3]

She married George Copp. ^[4]
