Biography

Dick Boyd was an Arkansan.

George Thomas 'Dick' Boyd was born on 18 March 1885 in Arkansas. He was the son of Thomas H. Boyd and Sarah Ann (Liles) Boyd.[1]

He married Lucy Caroline Martin on 10 March 1907 in Baxter County, Arkansas.[2] They were the parents of

  1. Leon M. Boyd (1909– ) .
  2. Joseph Arlie Boyd (1910–1981) .
  3. Blanch O. Boyd (1914– ) .
  4. Charley H. Boyd (1916–1984) .
  5. Unnamed Boyd (1918–1918) .
  6. Ray F. Boyd (1919–1995) .[3]
  7. Alvie Boyd (1922–2000) .
  8. George Thomas Boyd (1924–2015) .
  9. Ralph Boyd (1926–1999) .
  10. Marlin Martin Boyd (1929–2020)[4]

He registered for the World War I draft in 1918. He was farming in Norfork. He was described as medium in height and build with brown hair and blue eyes.[5]

He died at the age of 84 on 15 Jun 1969[6] in Baxter County, Arkansas. He was buried Martin Cemetery, near Norfork, Arkansas.[7]
