George Thomas 'Dick' Boyd was born on 18 March 1885 in Arkansas. He was the son of Thomas H. Boyd and Sarah Ann (Liles) Boyd.^[1]

He married Lucy Caroline Martin on 10 March 1907 in Baxter County, Arkansas.^[2] They were the parents of
