Biography

When Jesse Gordon Boyd was born on September 12, 1895,^[1] in Sinks Grove, West Virginia, his father, Thomas Boyd, was 33 and his mother, Emma Hawkins, was 32.

He married Maude Phyllis Lucky on September 12, 1923, in Pawnee, Kansas. They had one known child during their marriage.

He died on May 29, 1981, at the age of 85, and was buried in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
