Hi Derry,

I've been ploughing through British Army records and came across Alexander's record in Series 25/787. He was born at Crosspatrick near Killala, the date appears to be 24 Jun 1792.

He and Susan are shown as having nine children:

  1. Lewis Alexander Patrick, born 20 Sep 1813 in Ceuta
  2. Robert Browne Thomas, born 13 Dec 1815 in Gibraltar
  3. Alexander Fielding, born 17 Nov 1817 in Gibraltar
  4. William John(?), born 17 Mar 1820 in Gibraltar
  5. ???, born 21 Jul 1821 in Plymouth?
  6. Mary Frances Myrick, born 30 Jul 1823 in Tralee - see also https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/display-pdf.jsp?pdfName=k-470-1-2-031
  7. John Theodore Thomas, born 14 Nov 1825 in Tralee
  8. Arthur Pigot, born 22 Nov 1828 in Corfu
  9. Frederick William Arthur, born 19th Oct 1830 in Corfu
