Mary was the only daughter of Clarence Andrew L. Boyd and Zelda Frances Laing. She married Grover Edward Dove in 1932. They had three children. Mary passed away in 1998.

Mary F. Dove, 86, of 92 Blackberry School Road, York Springs, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998 in Gettysburg Hospital.
Born Oct. 6, 1911 in Hedgesville, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Zelda F. Laing Boyd. She was the widow of Grover E. Dove, who died in 1955.
Mrs. Dove was an employee of the former C.H. Musselman Co., Pet Milk Inc. of Gardners, for more than 34 years.
She was a member of Tomahawk Presbyterian Church, Hedgesville, W.Va., and York Springs Senior Citizens.
She was an associate member of Benders Lutheran Church of Biglerville.
Surviving are one son, Charles J. of York Springs; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Melvin and Gerald Dove.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Richard Spratlin officiating. Burial will be in Tomahawk Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Hedgesville, W.Va.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.[4]
