Tragically his mother died in 1845 when he was only 7. By 1851 his Aunt Sarah had moved into Homerton with Adam, now aged 12 and his brother Thomas (aged 29) was also recorded in the household.
He was recorded in Sarah's household in 1861 at Clapton Square West, St Johns Hackney, London, Middlesex, England. He was aged 22, single and a Student at Oxford University.
He may have emigrated from England to the United States
Adam probably passed away in 1893 at the age of about 64.
