Biography
Buford Boyd married Bessie Mae Williamson on 29 Nov 1930 per Pope Co, Ark marriage records. According to my mother, Buford was with Bessie until she became pregnant in 1931, then he ran off to join the military. Devastated and her family furious, Bess was sent away to have their child alone. She raised their son (Billy Gene Boyd) for 7 yrs until she met and married Sylvan Clay Ingram. They were married many years after and bore 10 more children together.
