Birth Date and Location His Late Registration of Birth was filed on November 7, 1947 in the Province of New Brunswick. The certificate states he was born on November First 1879 in Peel, Carlton County, New Brunswick. His father's name is given as Thomas Rideout Boyd (born in Simonds) and his mother is listed as Emaline Bishop. His older brother, Daniel, stated in his affidavit "That both Parents are dead. That I am the older Brither (sic) of such person That I am thirteen years his senior in age, And that at the time of Birth I was present in the house in which he was born and have a distinct recollection of the occurence (sic) of the said Birth"[1]
