Arnold Boyd married Joan Evelyn Colwell on November 28, 1945 in Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. His parents' names were given as Howard Boyd and Beth Seavey, who lived in Carleton County, New Brunswick. The witnesses were Arnold's sister Ellen Taylor and her husband Donald of Woodstock, New Brunswick. ^[1]

Arnold Boyd is buried with his wife Joan E. Colwell in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada in Stouffville Cemetery. His years of birth and death are all that is given on the headstone (1918 - 1984). ^[2] It is Arnold's wife's name that confirms this Arnold Boyd was the son of Howard and Beth Boyd of New Brunswick.
