Travis Dashiel Boykin was born on 1 Nov 1892 in Russell, Leon Co., Texas to Anthony Sales Boykin and Martha Jane (Avara) Boykin.
Travis enlisted in WWI on 11 September 1917 and served with Battery C, 345th F.A. 90th division in France, and with the Army of Occupation in Germany. [1]
He married Blanch Story.
Together they became the parents of Carlise (Boykin) Gardner, Lestie Beryl (Boykin) Vilas , Bertha Marnet Boykin, and Sally K (Boykin) Wright.
Travis passed away 24 April 1976 and is buried at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Texas. [2]
