Lady Mary Boyle was born in 1625.2 She was the daughter of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork and Catherine Fenton. She married Charles Rich, 4th Earl of Warwick, son of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton, on 21 July 1641. She died in 1678. From 21 July 1641, her married name became Rich.

"All her nearest relations and friends are remembered :
To my dearest sister and constant obliging friend, Lady Katherine, Viscountess Ranelagh, 6007. as a testimony of my peculiar esteem and affection ; to my well-beloved brother, Robert Boyle, 3007. ; to Lady Lucy Montagu, daughter to Edward Earl of Manchester, 3007., to whom I designed a greater testimony of my kindness if my estate would have borne it ; to my dear neice, Lady Francis Shaen, 1007. ; to Charles Rich, eldest son of Hon. Cope Rich deceased, 1007. ; to my sister, Countess Scarsdale, six silver sconces for a memorial of my affection.
To her cousin, Mr. Thomas Boteler, and Mistress Sidney Boteler, his wife, she leaves fifty pounds apiece, and to Sidney Boteler ' the little striking clock now standing in my bedchamber at Lees.'" [1]
