Biography

Martha was born in 1856. She was the daughter of Seaborn D.& Charlotte Mimervy (Lewis) Brackin.

She married John Newton Girdley on December 23,1875 in Marion County, Tennessee. Children:

1. Lawrence Mathew Girdley
2. Archie Alexander Girdley
3. John Lafayette Girdley
4. Mary Ann Morrison
5. Alton P. Girdley

She died in 1929. She is buried at Eastland Cemetery in White County, Tennessee.^[1]
