Suddenly, at Huntingdon, on the 12th April, Helen M. Bradford, aged 67
years, fourth daughter of the late Chas. C. Bradford and widow of thelate
James Bisset. Funeral will leave her late residence at 1 p.m.,Thursday,
thence to the Methodist church...
Tuesday evening Mrs Bisset attended the Epworth league meeting and
returned homewards with her daughter Roxy, who parted with her onnearing
the bridge to enter Mr McCoy's. The mother went to call on Mrs Moore,and
then proceeded home by way of King-street. Young Beaudin, employed in
Moir hotel, walking back from the N.Y.C. station, saw a woman lying onthe
sidewalk, next the kitchen of the hotel, and which proved to be Mrs
Bisset. She was carried into the hotel and her daughter sent for.She
was breathing when she arrived, but died in a few minutes without
recovering conciousness [sic]. Dr McEwen was sent for, but she wasbeyond
help. Dr Clouston did not deem an inquest necessary. Mrs Bisset wasan
active woman and rarely complained of ill-health. On the day of herdeath
she was in her usual good spirits.
