s/o Josiah Bradford and Elizabeth Tirzah Halbert; teacher and minister of the gospel in the Methodist Church; 1st wife Janey Hallock married in St. Louis on March 25 1891; 2nd wife Anna Orelia Frank married Oct. 29, 1903; author of several books including Circumstances to Order and Terrania. He established the postoffice at Kinderpost, MO. He was interested in establishing children's homes; therefore establishing and supporting the Ozark Kinderfarm under the governship of Herbert Sl Hadley, governor of MO from 1909 to 1913.
Children by Janey Hallock: Dorothy, Clarissa, and Janice. A son, wendell Romeyne died at three months of age.
Children by Anna Frank: Priscilla, Frank, and Ellery.
