Biography

Matilda W Bradford was born August 29, 1830 in Haywood County, Tennessee to Green Hill Bradford and Elizabeth Robertson Bradford.

She married Isham Kendrick on September 5, 1832 in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana.[1]

The 1850 US Census shows their residence in Rapides Parish, Louisiana.[2]

In 1870 she was widowed and living in Catahoula Parish with three of her children.[3]

In 1880 she was living in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana with her son John Wesley Kendrick and his family.[4]

She died on February 23, 1894 and is buried in New Union Cemetery in Tullos, LaSalle Parish, Louisiana.[5]
