Biography

In many online trees, it is shown that this family has two daughters named Grace, one born in 1763 and another born in 1765. In fact, there is only one daughter named Grace. "Vital Records incorrectly state her year of birth as 1765, but she was age 15 when she chose a guardian in 1778 for the estate she received from her grandfather, Gamaliel Bradford, Esq., late of Duxbury.^[1] There could not have been a later child of that name if the guardianship age is correct, and there is no 1765 baptism for another Grace."^[2]

Grace, born 6 April 1765, died unmarried, 8 Feb. 1848, age 83.^[3]
